Merz b. Schwanen's 1950s Loopwheeled Lightweight is knit in Germany on traditional loopwheel machines; slow, patient, and uncompromising. This creates a single-thread fabric with an soft hand and a lived-in quality from the very first wear. Rooted in a 1950s silhouette, it's tubular-knit with no side seams, triangle gussets under the arms, and a paneled crew neck that sits just right. The kind of tee that doesn't need explaining, but rewards the people who understand it.
Garment may shrink 1-1.5" in length during first wash. This style runs small, please size up for the best fit. Due to the traditional manufacturing processes, this 1-thread fabric sometimes reveals so-called "calendar creases" in lighter colors. This uneven appearance is a characteristic of the loop wheel manufacturing. These creases vary in appearance and may last permanently.
